Our Story

Welcome to Chilli Swim.

When my son, nicknamed Chilli, was 4 months old, his face and body erupted into
angry red, itchy eczema and for the life of me, would not go away.

 

Being a young mother in Australia, it was tough to protect my little Chilli from the scorching sun and we didn't want to stay indoors all day. As summertime rolled around, I tried searching for a reasonable solution that wouldn't irritate his sensitive skin and could not find a single thing I felt comfortable putting him in.

 

As a result, I would always be involved in communities both online and offline, where other eczema mamas shared their same frustrations in finding something appropriate to put their little ones in; when simply trying to enjoy a nice sunny day out by the water without having to worry about them breaking into itching fits or severe discomfort.

 

I thought to myself that there HAD to be a better way. After conducting some extensive research and planning, that is when I came up with the lightbulb moment to create the world's first bamboo swimwear line for babies & toddlers - Chilli Swim.

 

We are the first to provide a dedicated swimwear line for little ones with sensitive skin and whilst we combine a numerous number of beneficial technologies into a piece of swimwear, they are also stylish and very comfortable - giving mamas around the world the ultimate peace of mind.

 

Our goal is to continue to provide swimwear solutions to families all over so that you can enjoy the bigger things in life together, as one.

 

I am forever challenging myself in ways to protect my son's sensitive skin and therefore aspire to continually build upon this brand as I evolve as a young mother.
